Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions, Answered
If you’ve never visited a professional Massage Therapist before, you’re bound to have lots of questions or concerns. Below, you’ll find a list of several frequently asked questions from my clients. Can't find what your looking for? Contact me today for more information.
What do I need to wear when having my massage?
Generally you will be  in your underwear with adequate draping during the session. If you prefer to be massaged while clothed please do not worry as this can be done.
What should I expect from my first session?
You are emailed a link to a form where you complete your medical history, medication etc, which when submitted reaches me straight away. During your PRE-treatment consultation I will discuss your consultation form with you as well as going through the reason for seeking treatment and complete Range of movement testing etc.
Your clinic appointment will take place in a warm clinic room based in a friendly Personal Training studio. Music of your choice can be played throughout your appointment helping you to relax, unwind & feel comfortable.
Is it safe for me to receive a pregnancy massage when I am in the early stages of pregnancy?
Pregnancy Massage is applied when in a side lying position, as this position is generally considered the safest and most comfortable for most pregnant women. If you are in your first trimester or have a high-risk pregnancy please speak to your midwife or GP before booking an appointment.
Do I need to wear a mask during the appointment?
Now restrictions have lifted you are not required to wear a mask during your appointment. However, for your comfortability and acknowledging clients who are classed as medically vulnerable and need/wish to wear a mask during their appointment and wish to do so too, please let me know and I will be happy to do so.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations that are made 48 hours or less prior to appointment will incur a 50% charge of their appointment. No shows will recharged 100% of the appointment fee.
Failure to pay a cancellation fee will result in no future bookings.
